A leap in productivity – the aftermath of EuroBLECH 2022

From June 9-11, 2025, Pivatic, Vaski, and Ursviken will celebrate a combined 🎂 200 years of business. To honor these milestones, we are hosting a grand celebration at the Pivatic factory in Hyvinkää, Finland. The three-day event is dedicated to our customers and partners, starting with a Technology Days event at our Hyvinkää factory on Monday and Tuesday, and a customer visit on Wednesday.

Vaski Group is pleased to announce that the previously announced acquisition of Ursviken Technology AB has now been completed. Nicklas Jakobsson, the CEO of Ursviken Technology AB prior to the acquisition will join the Vaski Group Board of Directors, bringing his experience and valuable insights to the team as a non-executive director. He will resign from his current role at Ursviken as CEO in early April before assuming his position on the board, where he will contribute to the continued growth and innovation of Vaski Group, Ursviken and Pivatic.

As of today, 20 January 2025 in Skellefteå, Sweden, Vaski Group is proud to announce the acquisition of Ursviken Technology, a renowned Swedish manufacturer specializing in advanced press brake and shear solutions. The acquisition follows Vaski Group’s 2024 purchase of Pivatic Oy, an automatic sheet metal fabrication system manufacturer.

The acquisition brings together two industry leaders with a shared vision for innovation and excellence. After the fusion, the companies will share a combined revenue of nearly €50 million and a workforce of over 200 talented professionals.

We are delighted to announce that Jamie Sims has been appointed President of Pivatic Inc. having led the Pivatic business in North America for several years, developing a best-in-sector service team in North America, we are confident Jamie will take Pivatic and the Vaski Group to the next level, further developing the sales side of the business. Jamie has also joined the board of Vaski Group. As president, he will oversee operations in North America.
