Whistleblow
Whistleblow is a confidential and anonymous channel that you can use to report suspected abuse, violations, and illegal activity in our organization. Such things can be, for example, bullying, harassment, fraud, theft, bribery, accepting bribes, or factors affecting the lack of security. Suspicion cases are taken seriously, and therefore it is recommended to bring them up in order to avoid larger problem situations.
Starting from December 1st, 2023, we will use an anonymous reporting channel with our partner Whistleblower Partners (https://whistleblowerpartners.com/). Notifications are made anonymously, and no information is stored about the person who sent the notification, based on which it would be possible to identify the person who sent the notification. Whistleblower Partners handles the notifications received in the channel confidentially and reports them to a person appointed by Pivatic or the chairman of the board. Notifications are identified using an identification code automatically generated by the channel, which enables anonymous communication between the notifier and Whistleblower Partners. Confidentiality and anonymity also apply when the informant himself reveals his identity.
The purpose of the whistleblower channel is to prevent illegal activities, violations, and damages. When important information about possible suspected case is received through the reporting channel, it is possible to react to them in time. For this reason, Pivatic wants to offer staff a confidential channel for raising grievances.
The whistleblower system covers the company’s offices and personnel in Finland, Germany, the United States, and India.
