Pivatic with Jakamo Supplier Experience Platform

02/08/2023

A few months ago, Pivatic Oy started using the Jakamo service to improve the purchase order process. Through Jakamo, we create a transparent purchasing process for sharing information with our suppliers.

The service is used in these stages of the purchase order process:
• Sending purchase orders
• Receiving order confirmations
• Sending documentation related to purchase orders
• Communication with the supplier regarding purchase orders

“Before Jakamo, our order and order documentation were released through emails mainly. This required buyers’ effort every time, when something extraordinary happened. Jakamo was selected for our supplier because their solution looked to be really easy, both at Pivatic and also at the suppliers. We currently use purchasing and sourcing models of Jakamo service, and our future plan is to extend to the supplier quality model.”

“Jakamo supplier experience platform solution has helped us to track suppliers online, related to the price if there are any changes. The second thing is the delivery time, so we can easily see when the part has been confirmed to arrive at our factory.”

Case: M.C.I. Metalldecken Produktions GmbH

M.C.I. Metalldecken is a specialist when it comes to manufacturing metal ceilings and functional ceilings. They supply high-quality products, such as rectangular metal panels for climate-control ceilings, fire-protection ceilings, and cleanroom ceilings.

The company invested in a PivaPunch PCB160-e line that was integrated after a coil perforating and cutting line. The perforated sheets are punched to complete parts with the PCB using Thick Turret tooling (stationery and indexing), and if several parts are nested on the sheets, they are cut separately with a shear. The finished ceiling panels are marked with an InkJet printer and discharged to the side for measurement via a suction cup device or fed directly to the follow-up process.
