Vaski Group 200 years – Technology Festival a huge success

08/20/2025

The in-house company event, combining an Open House, Mini-exhibition, and Festival themes, was held just at the brink of summer in June 2025, at Hyvinkää, Finland. The visitors cited this as “never-before-seen in the industrial segment”. We agree; the big ambition to create a once-in-a-lifetime event for roughly 250 of our customers and partners, where they learn about new technologies and possibilities, and have the option to have quality time off and relax, was praised for its success. Re-live the moment with us below!

Day 1 – Sales Partners

The first day, we eventually ended up displaying and showcasing 10 different types of machinery, from all three Vaski Group companies – Vaski, Pivatic, and Ursviken – as well as our preferred integration or co-operator partners EUROMAC S.p.A., RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau GmbH, JTA Connection Oy, Cajo Technologies Oy, Samesor Oy, Leeport, and Wilson Tool International. By machine types, there were 3 functional line solutions, 2 press brakes, an integrated part handling solution, and 4 stand-alone machines for punching, bending, or other functions. We showcased all available machines but gave the floor on Day 1 to our partners to show how, in the past or the future, different machinery complements one another – to produce solutions for a wider scope of production logistics.

Day 2 – Vaski Group

The second day focused on a deep dive into Pivatic, Vaski, and Ursviken machinery – and let’s just say we were PACKED with people (nearly doubling the first day’s participant amount)! Both of the main days were opened by Vaski Group CEO Mr. Michael Mansour, with a Group presentation and followed up by a Vaski product portfolio overview, Pivatic punching and coil nesting development, and Ursviken press brake capabilities before going for a round of machine demonstrations.

Pivatic demonstrated several customer projects, like a heavy-duty MPB line solution system for the construction industry, to bend up to 2 mm thick steel with complicated profile shapes. The project marks a significant milestone to show the development of the MPB unit that was first launched at EuroBLECH 2018. Another punching line solution was also in the heavy-duty area, to punch 1600 mm wide and 3.5 mm thick steel, which also emphasized the importance of rigid machinery for some business segments.

Pivatic also had at show the first PivaPunch Compact punching solution that is presented at FABTECH 2025. The line has a fast-change multicoil system, a feeding straightener, a flexible Thick Turret punching unit, and a discharging and stacking parts via a robot – all taking up only roughly 12 meters of floor space in length. This is also one of the first lines to display last year’s newly published brand and color theme, in line with the Vaski Group portfolio. Pivatic also demonstrated the stand-alone MPB Unit that’s used for product testing and development – especially for the door frame segment – and the EuroBLECH 2024 trade fair solution configured as a blanking line.

For Vaski portfolio, there was a VaskiPUNCH Prodigy, VaskiBEND Inspiration, and VaskiSHAPE machinery on show. Interest among the visitors sparked from the all-electric busbar processing and the accuracy of bending flat bars, plus the punch-integrable CAJO laser marking unit that’s also available as a standard addition to the VaskiPUNCH machines.

Ursviken Technology AB demonstrated its company capabilities with its medium-sized OptiFlex press brake and showcased different end results with superior quality and precision. The big-sized Optima press brake series, and actually the world’s longest single-frame press brake (22.2 meters) with 5000 tons press force, was also presented on stage for when industries demand extreme size and power.

Day 2 – Evening Celebration

After an intense technology-packed two-day event, it was time to take the edge off, enjoy each other’s company, and discuss what the future holds. We were pleased to dine together and enjoy various live music performances from artists like Ida Elina, Flute of Shame, Maija Vilkkumaa, and Michael Monroe. The transformation from a laid-back evening to a full-blown concert was something that was sure to impress all attendees.

Celebrating Heritage with Eyes on the Future

While the setting was celebratory, the message was strategic. Vaski Group’s leadership used the opportunity to highlight its vision for continued growth: expanding international presence, investing in advanced production technologies, and deepening integration across the group’s three brands.

Marking 140 years since Ursviken’s founding, and 50 years of Pivatic innovation, the event paid tribute to the company’s industrial heritage – but equally, it showcased Vaski Group’s readiness to lead the next chapter in metal machinery. As global manufacturers seek faster, more flexible, and more sustainable solutions, Vaski Group positions itself not just as a supplier but as a partner in industrial transformation.

We would like to thank all participants, partners, customers and other visitors – in joining our event!
